Q: Do you take reservations?
A: Yes, for the winter months. Generally, reservations are available from Mid-October through Mothers Day in May.
Reservation Policy as of Monday October 17, 2022:
Reservations are NOT accepted on our website inbox or on our FB page. Please call the restaurant directly to make a reservation. Please know we cannot guarantee a specific table/room for any reservation, we will try our best to accommodate requests when you arrive to check in with the host station. Please know, reservations are held for fifteen (15) minutes. Please check in with the host station as soon as you arrive to Hoaks. If you need to cancel your reservation, we understand, please call us to give us as much notice as possible. Walk In Tables are always welcome! Please come in to check with our host station to be seated. We will take your parties information & phone number and we will let you know when your table is ready if there is a wait. (we will send a text message notification when your table is ready).
We are only able to accommodate reservations for parties of 8 people or more on Fridays, thank you for your understanding. Please be advised that incomplete parties may not be seated to ensure fairness to parties waiting on our waiting list.
We are accepting reservations until March 25, 2023 at this time.

Q: What are your hours?
A: Normal Kitchen/Dining Room hours are 11:30am-9pm Monday-Sunday, with the last seating daily around 8:30pm. Please check the pinned post on the Hoak’s Facebook page or the Contact Us & Hours page here on our website for any hour changes that may occur. The BAR is open later than the Kitchen. Hours are subject to change without notice.
Q: Can I purchase gift cards online?
A: We do not have an online store set up at this time. Please stop by the restaurant to purchase a Hoaks Gift Certificate. If you are unable to stop by, please call the restaurant and we can make arrangements to mail one out to you- postage fees may apply. Any unused funds when redeeming a Gift Certificate will be issued on a new Gift Certificate to be used at a future date.
Please note: ONLY HOAK’S GIFT CERTIFICATES SOLD AT HOAK’S ARE VALID.
We DO NOT authorize any third party sales gift certificates from any other vendor or website.
Q: Do you have a banquet room?
A: Yes. It is the upstairs dining room of our restaurant. It can accommodate up to 45 people for private parties/events.
Please call us to reserve our banquet room.

Q: Do you book private events/showers/weddings/dinner parties/special occasions?
A: Yes. Please see our Banquets Tab on our website for menu selections.
Q: Do you offer delivery/takeout?
A: Takeout is always available! We are no longer affiliated with any third party delivery apps. (Door Dash, Grub Hub, Uber Eats, Takeout Taxi, etc.) *Please call Hoaks to place a takeout order directly.* Takeout orders are not accepted via Facebook or on our Website inbox.
Q: Is your menu posted online?
A: Yes. It is posted here on our website (https://www.hoaksrestaurant.com/menu) as well as our Facebook page. We will try our best to keep items and prices as current as possible. Any item on the menu that indicates “market price” please call for current pricing.
Q: Is your full menu always available?
A: Our whole menu is available all day, everyday! We serve our fish frys 7 days a week!
Due to ongoing supply chain issues, we are still experiencing some difficulty receiving some products. We try our best to have all menu items available at all times but that is not always possible. We are constantly working with our suppliers and distributors to ensure we have all of our menu selections at all times.

Q: Does Hoaks make donations to charitable organizations?
A: Yes. All donation requests must be mailed or dropped off to the restaurant for management’s consideration. Our Address is 4100 Lakeshore Road, Hamburg, NY 14075. *Due to a high frequency of donation requests, we can only make contributions to a select amount of submission requests at this time.*
Q: Do you allow guests to bring in a cake/dessert for their table?
A: If you are celebrating a special occasion here at Hoaks, you are more than welcome to bring in an outside cake/dessert for your table. When available, we have desserts sold by the slice, please check with your server for current selections/availability. No other outside food or drink will be permitted.
Q: Are we allowed to decorate our table/area/banquet room for a special occasion?
A: In the main dining room you can bring some balloons and light tabletop decorations. Confetti of any kind is not permitted anywhere at Hoaks in the dining room or in the banquet room, cleaning charges will apply. If you have booked our banquet room for your event, please speak with management about decorations.
Q: Do you allow dogs/pets on your patio or in the restaurant?
A: Service animals only are allowed in the restaurant and on the patio at this time.
Q: Do you have a time limit for tables at your restaurant?
A: At this time we do not have a time limit for tables, however, we ask that all customers are courteous to others that are waiting to be seated to enjoy a meal at Hoaks.
Q: What happens when it rains when I am sitting on the patio?
A: Inclement Weather & Changing Weather Conditions Policy: (as of 6/8/2020)
*If seated at a table and eating, take out boxes will be handed out to customers, bills must be settled immediately and customers must leave.
*If waiting for a table when a storm rolls in, we will try our best to seat our waiting list after A) bad weather stops, B) the patio dries off enough to be safe to seat again.
Inside seating is NOT guaranteed to patrons dining outside on the patio due to inclement weather
or changing weather conditions.
Q: Does Hoaks have an additional Parking lot?
A: Additional Parking for Hoaks Patrons is located in the lot across the street where the “Hoak’s Parking” sign is. Please cross safely at the crosswalk at Lakeshore Road / Big Tree Road. We thank you for your patience with parking since our parking lot sustained some bad damage during a recent storm.
